APRY2 Program Details

The Advanced Practice Pharmacy Residency, Year 2 is a robust program designed to train clinical pharmacists to specialize in areas that will serve the population of the Greater Vancouver Area. We pride ourselves on excellent standards of teaching, preceptorship and research.

Rotation Sites

LMPS Residents have the opportunity to complete rotations at various site across four Health Authorities in the lower mainland:

  • Vancouver Coastal Health
  • Providence Health Care
  • Fraser Health
  • Provincial Health Services Authority

Other Program Components

Academic Day Seminars - Academic Day Seminars allow our residents to both attend didactic coursework as well as practice their lecturing through leading discussions on recent papers and presenting literature reviews.

Resident Mentorship Program - As an advanced practioner, our APRY2 residents are expected to mentor general Pharmacy Practice Residency students in their journey to develop their clinical skills.
