FEES

Fees associated with the application and matching process:

Non-refundable BC programs application fee: =  to be determined shortly (check back soon!)
CSHP Pharmacy Residency Application & Matching Service fee = $200
(This $200 fee allows application to 8 different programs in Canada; an additional $25 fee for subsequent program applications will apply)
UBC Registration Fee upon acceptance into a BC program (subject to change) = $83.67

Required credentials and qualifications

Applicants are required to be registered and licensed as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.  All exams required for licensure must be completed prior to the start of the residency program which is in early June of each year.

Applicants will be selected based on a matching process with the British Columbia Pharmacy Practice Residency Program Committee and the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists Residency Matching Service based on the applicant's institutional preferences, letters of reference, interviews, and academic performance during your undergraduate pharmacy program. All applicants must be registered with the CSHP matching service in order to be selected. 

International and out-of-province applicants are welcome and encouraged to apply.

All successful applicants to the LMPS Residency Program must provide evidence of membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and maintain their active membership throughout the course of the residency year.
