Year 1 positions
For the 2020-21 program - we will have 30 residency positions (27 adult pod and 3 peds pod residents).

Fees associated with the application and matching process:

BC programs application fee: = $50 along with the
CSHP Pharmacy Residency Application & Matching Service fee = $200 (total $250)
(This $200 CSHP fee allows application to 8 different programs in Canada; an additional $25 fee for subsequent program applications will apply)
UBC Registration Fee upon acceptance into a BC program (approximate, subject to change) = $95
Required credentials and qualifications
Applicants are required to be registered and licensed as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. All exams required for licensure must be completed prior to the start of the residency program which is in early June of each year.
All information provided in the application and reference letters will be reviewed and considered in the selection process. Applicants will be matched with the residency programs via the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists - Pharmacy Residency Matching Service (PRAMS). All applicants must be registered with the CSHP PRAMS matching service in order to be selected.
International and out-of-province applicants are welcome and encouraged to apply.
All successful applicants to the LMPS Residency Program must provide evidence of membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and maintain their active membership throughout the course of the residency year.
