Accountable for planning, organizing, and executing tasks to ensure effective management of the residency program

 

Acts as a resource to residents and preceptors for program administration issues

Assists with scheduling-related processes

Assists with evaluation-related infrastructure and is the primary contact for one45-related issues for residents and preceptors

 

Accountable for the strategic planning and oversight of the residency program

 

RAC Terms of Reference

Provides general oversight of and guidance on the design and operation of the program.

 

Assist the Program Coordinator in ensuring an environment conducive to learning is in place at sites where residents are placed

Assist the Program Coordinator when adapting residents' schedule is necessitated by personnel changes

Assist the Program Coordinator in setting up particular learning opportunities (e.g, presentations, oral assessments) at sites

Provide general support to residents while on site

 

A collaborative committee that provides guidance, support and oversight in the operation of BC Pharmacy Residency Year 1 Programs.

 

Help support the program and their peers over the academic year.

Participate in RAC meetings.

Represent the residents’ views to the program leadership, when this is deemed the most appropriate mechanism to do so.

Serve as a resource to residents who request support.

Facilitate and support various program activities throughout the residency year.

 

Foster communication amongst BC Pharmacy Residents and between the BC Residents and the BC Pharmacy Residency Coordinators.

Represent the BC Residents at meetings and events.

Facilitate involvement of the BC Residents in CSHP activities and events.
