Thinking about a career in Health-Systems Pharmacy?
Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services (LMPS) offers a Canadian Pharmacy Residency Board–accredited program designed to cultivate advanced clinical competence, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making across diverse patient populations.
Our Year 1 Institutional Program provides experiential rotations primarily based in the acute-care, inpatient setting at our larger hospitals. However, all of our residents will also gain experience in the outpatient setting (primary care and specialty clinics) and on teaching/precepting-based rotations.
🏥 Unmatched Clinical Exposure
LMPS offers one of Canada’s largest year 1 pharmacy residency programs, with positions across adult inpatient, specialty outpatient clinics and pediatric care.
👩⚕️ Expert Mentorship & Teaching
Over 250 clinical pharmacy preceptors guide residents through real-world patient care.
LMPS has a strong academic culture, with award-winning research programs, mentorship, and teaching opportunities.
🎓 Advanced Training Opportunities
LMPS also offers Year 2 specialty residencies in areas like Critical Care, Mental Health and Substance Use, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine, accredited by the Canadian Pharmacy Residency Board.
These advanced programs focus on leadership, research, and clinical excellence.
